نظمت وزارة البيئة من خلال مشروع الطيور الحوامة المهاجرة وجمعية بيئة بلا حدود احتفالية كبرى بمحمية وادى دجلة استمراراً لاحتفالات مصر بيوم البيئة العالمى والذى يقام هذا العام تحت شعار احتفالية كبرى تحت شعار "لا نملك سوى أرض واحدة" ، مشروع الطيور الحوامة هو مشروع ممول من مرفق البيئة العالمية ومنفذ من جهاز شئون البيئة بالتعاون مع البرنامج الإنمائى للأمم المتحدة و بيرد لايف انترناشونال.
واوضحت الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد وزيرة البيئة أن الاحتفالية تهدف إلى عرض نماذج من المجهودات الوطنية وأفكار طلاب المدارس التى تساهم فى حماية البيئة والعيش في وئام مع الطبيعة و تحقيق مبادئ الاستدامة فى حياتنا اليومية ، وقد شارك فى الاحتفالية ممثلين عن وزارة التربية والتعليم، ووزارة الزراعة والمجلس الأعلى للثقافة وهيئة الطاقة الجديدة والشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء وجامعة المنوفية والمنظمات الدولية ومجموعة من البنوك الداعمة للمشروعات .
وأشارت وزيرة البيئة ان الاحتفالية تعد استمراراً لجهود الوزارة لفتح قنوات تواصل جديدة و غير تقليدية مع المجتمع لدعم العمل البيئى وفق آليات التنمية المستدامة والعمل على الاستفادة من طاقاتهم فى حماية البيئة بالتعاون الجهات المعنية .
جديراً بالذكر أن جمعيه بيئة بلا حدود هى أحد منظمات المجتمع المدنى التى تهدف للحفاظ على البيئة ومواردها الطبيعية، والتى تسعى للمساهمة في الجهود الوطنية والعالمية للحفاظ على الطبيعة من خلال تنفيذ برامج تعليمية وتنموية متنوعة فى كافة القطاعات والتى من شأنها حماية البيئة ورفع مستوى التعليم البيئي والتوعية البيئية بما يضمن تحقيق التنمية المستدامة لصالح أجيالنا في الحاضر والمستقبل.

A grand celebration in the Wadi Degla Reserve, organized by the Environment Without Borders Association with the Soaring Birds Project
The Ministry of Environment, through the Migratory Soaring Birds Project and the Environment Without Borders Association, organized a major celebration in the Wadi Degla Reserve, in continuation of Egypt’s celebrations of the World Environment Day, which is being held this year under the slogan of a major celebration under the slogan “We only own one land.” The Soaring Birds Project is a project funded by the Facility The global environment and an outlet from the Environmental Affairs Agency in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and Bird Life International.
Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, explained that the celebration aims to present examples of national efforts and ideas of school students that contribute to protecting the environment, living in harmony with nature and achieving the principles of sustainability in our daily lives. Representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Supreme Council participated in the celebration. Culture, the New Energy Authority, the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, Menoufia University, international organizations, and a group of banks supporting the projects.
The Minister of Environment indicated that the celebration is a continuation of the ministry's efforts to open new and non-traditional channels of communication with the community to support environmental work in accordance with sustainable development mechanisms and work to benefit from their energies in protecting the environment in cooperation with the concerned authorities.
It is worth mentioning that the Environment Without Borders Association is one of the civil society organizations that aims to preserve the environment and its natural resources. environment to ensure sustainable development for the benefit of our generations in the present and the future.
