تنفيذا لتكليفات د مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء وبتكليف من السيد القصير وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي قام د عباس الشناوى رئيس قطاع الخدمات والمتابعة بزيارة إلى محافظة كفر الشيخ
يرافقه د ناجح غربية مدير مديرية الزراعة في المحافظة "الشناوى" قام بمتابعة توريد محصول البنجر لمصانع السكر وعقد لقاءات مع المزارعين والمسئولين عن مصانع السكر وكذلك مسئولي الزراعة بالمحافظة
كما تابع أيضا المحاصيل الصيفية وأهمها القطن والذرة والأرز الشناوي أكد أن هناك توجيهات من وزير الزراعة لجميع قيادات الوزارة بالتواجد الميداني مع المزراعين على أرض الواقع سواء لتقديم الدعم الفني لهم أو لإزالة أي عقبات تواجههم خاصة في توريد القمح
كما أشار إلى جهود الوزارة في تشجيع المزراعين على الانضمام لمنظومة الزراعة التعاقدية في زراعة المحاصيل الاستراتيجية واهمها حاليا القطن والذرة وفول الصويا وعباد الشمس.

In implementation of the assignments of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and on the authority of Mr. Al Qaseer, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Abbas El-Shennawy, Head of the Services and Follow-up Sector, visited Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate
Accompanied by Dr. Najeh Gharbia, Director of the Directorate of Agriculture in the governorate, "Al-Shenawy", he followed up the supply of the beet crop to sugar factories and held meetings with farmers and officials of sugar factories as well as agricultural officials in the governorate
He also followed up on summer crops, the most important of which are cotton, corn and rice. Al-Shennawi confirmed that there are directives from the Minister of Agriculture to all the leaders of the ministry to be on the ground with farmers on the ground, whether to provide technical support to them or to remove any obstacles they face, especially in the supply of wheat.
He also referred to the ministry's efforts to encourage farmers to join the contract farming system in the cultivation of strategic crops, the most important of which are cotton, corn, soybeans and sunflowers.
