برعاية أ. د. إيناس عبد الدايم وزيرة الثقافة، وبحضور الأستاذ الدكتور ممدوح غراب محافظ الشرقية، قدمت الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة برئاسة المخرج هشام عطوة العرض المسرحي "ثورة فلاحين " بقصر ثقافة بلبيس بفرع ثقافة الشرقية بإقليم شرق الدلتا الثقافي برئاسة أمل عبدالله، العرض من إخراج السيد الدميري، ومعالجة درامية خالد حسونة عن النص الإسباني ثورة فلاحين "فونتى أبيخونا" تأليف لوب دي فيجا، ترجمة الدكتور حسين مؤنس، أشعار فوزى إبراهيم، ألحان الموسيقار رجب الشاذلي، مصمم الاستعراضات طارق جابر، سينوجرافيا دكتور نبيل الحلوجى، وتدور أحداثه حول ظلم وجبروت العمدة سالم وأخذه لكل شيء بالقوة حتى العِرض والشرف هو ومساعده زناتي، حيث تحكما في مصير الفلاحين وسلب حقوقهم ، ليثور عليهم أهل القرية وينتصر الحق.
وأشاد غراب بالعرض المسرحي وفكرة وأداء أبطاله من فناني ونجوم مدينة بلبيس، مؤكداً أن المسرح يُعد أحد أذرع القوة الناعمة التي تسهم بشكل كبير في التأثير المباشر في تشكيل الوعي وبناء الإنسان، كما ثمن المحافظ جهود وزارة الثقافة ومساعيها التنويرية المتميزة في إثراء الحياة الثقافية والإبداعية بالمحافظة، وخاصة الهيئة العامة لقصور الثقافة والتي تواصل دورها الهام في تقديم عروض مسرحية هادفة بمواقع فرع ثقافة الشرقية، وقد حرص المحافظ على التقاط صور تذكارية مع فناني ونجوم العرض المسرحي، متمنياً لهم دوام التوفيق والرقي وتقديم فن هادف يساهم في بناء وتنمية المجتمع.
جاء العرض بحضور الدكتور أحمد عبد المعطي نائب المحافظ، والأستاذ سعد الفرماوي السكرتير العام، والمهندس محمد الصافي السكرتير العام المساعد، واللواء السعيد عبد المعطي الخبير الوطني للتنمية المحلية، والدكتور جلال عبد الكريم رئيس مركز ومدينة بلبيس، وعدد من أعضاء مجلس النواب، وكان في استقبالهم أمل عبد الله رئيس الإقليم، وأحمد خاطر مدير عام فرع ثقافة الشرقية، ووسط حضور جماهيري كبير.
