شهد قداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني مساء اليوم احتفالية الكلية الإكليريكية اللاهوتية بالأنبا رويس بمناسبة مرور ١٣٠ سنة على إعادة افتتاحها والتي أقيمت بمسرح الأنبا رويس بالكاتدرائية المرقسية بالعباسية تحت عنوان "جذور وأغصان".
وافتتح قداسة البابا مكتبة الكلية قبل بدء الاحتفالية، والتقطت صورة تذكارية لقداسته مع نيافة الأنبا ميخائيل الأسقف العام ووكيل الكلية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس.
وألقى قداسة البابا كلمة أكد خلالها على أن الكنيسة تقوم على قدمين هما: التعليم
والتكريس.

**وحدد ثلاث علامات يجب أن يتسم بهم الدارس الإكليريكي، هي:
-١- أن يمتلك الشخصية المتوازنة (روحًا، فكرًا، عقلاً، عاطفةً)
-٢- أن يمتلك الشخصية المبدعة
-٣- أن يمتلك الشخصية البناءة
**وبارك قداسته مشروع استكمال ترجمة الكتاب المقدس باللغة القبطية حيث يجري ترجمة سفر المزامير، بعد أن تمت ترجمة البشائر الأربعة.
**تضمنت فقرات احتفالية "جذور وأغصان" إلى جانب كلمة نيافة الأنبا ميخائيل، تكريم أساتذة الكلية المتنيحين، وعرض أربعة من مشروعات التخرج وآيات بعدة لغات، ومسرحية باللغة القبطية حملت اسم "بَارُّسِّيا"، واختتمت بتخريج أربعة دفعات من الكلية وتكريم أعضاء هيئة التدريس.

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II witnessed this evening the celebration of the Theological Seminary College of Anba Royce on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of its reopening, which was held in the Anba Royce Theater in the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya, under the title “Roots and Branches.”
His Holiness the Pope opened the college library before the start of the celebration, and a memorial photo was taken of His Holiness with His Eminence Bishop Mikhail, the general bishop, the college dean, and faculty members.
His Holiness the Pope delivered a speech in which he stressed that the Church stands on two legs: education
And consecration.
He identified three signs that a seminarian must be characterized by:
1- To have a balanced personality (spirit, thought, mind, emotion)
2- To have a creative personality
3- To have a constructive personality
His Holiness blessed the project to complete the translation of the Holy Bible in the Coptic language, where the Book of Psalms is being translated, after the Four Gospels were translated.
The celebrations included “Roots and Branches,” in addition to a speech by His Eminence Bishop Mikhail, honoring the college’s departed professors, a presentation of four graduation projects and verses in several languages, and a play in the Coptic language called “Parsia,” which concluded with the graduation of four classes from the college and honoring the faculty members.
