استمراراً لاحتفالات مصر بيوم البيئة العالمى: تسليم الدراجات للفائزين فى مسابقة "صحتنا من صحة كوكبنا"
استمراراً لاحتفالات مصر بيوم البيئة العالمى، قامت وزارة البيئة امس بتسليم الجوائز للفائزين فى مسابقة "صحتنا من صحة كوكبنا" للمراحل الثانية والثالثة والرابعة والخامسة، وهى عبارة عن دراجات هوائية كما تسلمت الدكتورة شيرين فكرى مساعد وزيرة البيئة من المغامر على عبده شهادة موسوعة جينيس لأطول رحلة بالموتوسيكل الكهربائى نيابة عن وزيرة البيئة وذلك بمحمية وادى دجلة وبحضور قيادات الوزارة المعنية.
وأكدت الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد أن
المسابقة يتم تنفيذها بالتعاون مع شركة سنوفى مصر للمساهمة في البرامج والمبادرات التوعوية التي أطلقتها وزارة البيئة والمشاركة فى المبادرة الرئاسية "إتحضر للأخضر" لرفع الوعي البيئي واستمرارا لاستعداد مصر لاستضافة مؤتمر الأطراف ال27 للتغيرات المناخية، والحث على استخدام وسائل النقل المستدام وتخفيف انبعاثات الكربون مما يساهم فى بعث رسالة قوية للعالم عن إتحاد المصريين حول هدف واحد وإظهار إهتمام كافة قطاعات الدولة المصرية بتلك القضية ، بالإضافة إلى تقديم نموذج مشرف للدول النامية وخاصة الافريقية .
وأشارت وزيرة البيئة إلى أن المسابقة تعكس الدور المصرى وما يتم من جهود لحماية البيئة وتنميتها للحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية وحسن استغلالها وعدم استنزافها ومراعاة حقوق الأجيال القادمة، من خلال العمل على رفع الوعى البيئى لدى كافة شرائح المجتمع.
وأوضحت وزيرة البيئة أن المسابقة شملت مجموعة من الأسئلة المتعلقة بحماية البيئة وتنميتها والأمراض المترتبة على تلوث الهواء وخاصة أمراض الحساسية ، حيث تضمنت المسابقة سؤالاً شهرياً ، قام المتسابقين بالإجابة عليه على الموقع الالكترونى للوزارة و تم تقييم الإجابات من خلال وزارة البيئة والإعلان عن الفائزين، ومن المقرر توزيع عدد 2000 دراجة هوائية مقدمة من تلفاست إحدى منتجات شركة سانوفى مصر على الفائزين طوال مدة المسابقة.
وأشارت فؤاد أن جوائز المسابقة من الدراجات تم اختيارها بعناية لتعكس الأهتمام بالبيئة وما تسهم به من تقليل للانبعاثات نظراً لأهمية نشر ثقافة استخدام وسائل النقل المستدام ، مضيفةً أن مثل تلك الأفكار تؤكد على أهمية تغيير فكر الأجيال القادمة بحيث تصبح البيئة جزء من حياتهم فالكل مسؤول عن حماية البيئة ولابد أن يتشارك الجميع، موضحةً أنه سيتم استكمال هذا التعاون المشترك خلال العام القادم فى إطار استضافة مصر لقمة التغير المناخى القادم cop27، موجهة الدعوة للجميع بالتعاون لانجاح هذا الحدث العالمى الهام.
In continuation of Egypt's celebrations of World Environment Day: Handing over bicycles to the winners of the “Our Health Is Our Planet’s Health” competition
In continuation of Egypt’s celebrations of World Environment Day, the Ministry of Environment yesterday handed over prizes to the winners of the “Our Health is from the Health of Our Planet” competition for the second, third, fourth and fifth stages, which are bicycles, and Dr. Sherine Fikry, Assistant Minister of Environment, received from the adventurer Ali Abdo a Guinness certificate for the longest trip On the electric motorcycle, on behalf of the Minister of Environment, in the Wadi Degla Reserve, and in the presence of the concerned ministry leaders.
Dr. Yasmine Fouad confirmed that
The competition is implemented in cooperation with Sanofi Egypt to contribute to the awareness programs and initiatives launched by the Ministry of Environment and to participate in the presidential initiative “Get ready for the green” to raise environmental awareness and in continuation of Egypt’s readiness to host the 27th Conference of Parties on Climate Change, urging the use of sustainable transportation and mitigating carbon emissions, which contributes to Sending a strong message to the world about the union of Egyptians around one goal and showing the interest of all sectors of the Egyptian state in that issue, in addition to presenting an honorable model for developing countries, especially African ones.
The Minister of Environment indicated that the competition reflects the Egyptian role and the efforts made to protect and develop the environment to preserve natural resources, make good use of them, not deplete them, and take into account the rights of future generations, by working to raise environmental awareness among all segments of society.
The Minister of Environment explained that the competition included a set of questions related to the protection and development of the environment and diseases resulting from air pollution, especially allergic diseases, as the competition included a monthly question, which the contestants answered on the ministry’s website. Distributing 2000 bicycles provided by Telfast, a Sanofi product in Egypt, to the winners for the duration of the competition.
Fouad indicated that the competition prizes for bicycles were carefully selected to reflect the concern for the environment and the contribution it contributes to reducing emissions due to the importance of spreading the culture of using sustainable transportation, adding that such ideas emphasize the importance of changing the thinking of future generations so that the environment becomes a part of their lives, as everyone is responsible for protecting The environment must be shared by everyone, explaining that this joint cooperation will be completed during the next year within the framework of Egypt's hosting of the upcoming Cop27 Climate Change Summit, inviting all to cooperate for the success of this important global event.
