نحتفل اليوم بالذكرى الخامسة والعشرين لتأسيس منظمة الدول الثماني النامية للتعاون الاقتصادي D-8. لقد أولت مصر دائمًا أهمية كبيرة للدور الذي تضطلع به المنظمة في تعزيز التعاون والتضامن فيما بين الدول الأعضاء فيها، كما أنها حريصة على الاستمرار في المساهمة في الجهود الجماعية من أجل بناء مستقبل مشترك من الازدهار والتنمية لدولها. وتود مصر أن تعرب مجدداً عن دعمها للمنظمة، مؤكدة على ضرورة الاستمرار في التركيز على الأهداف الأساسية التي أنشئت من أجلها، ومتمنية للمنظمة دوام النجاح في السنوات القادمة.

Today we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation. Egypt has always attached great importance to the role played by the organization in enhancing cooperation and solidarity among its member states, and is keen to continue to contribute to collective efforts in order to build a common future of prosperity and development for its countries. Egypt would like to reiterate its support for the organization, stressing the need to continue focusing on the basic goals for which it was established, and wishing the organization continued success in the coming years.
