أطلق الدكتور أشرف صبحي وزير الشباب والرياضة، واللواء عادل الغضبان محافظ بورسعيد، المرحلة الثانية من مبادرة Her world، بالمدينة الرياضية بمحافظة بورسعيد، ضمن برنامج جولته التفقدية للمنشآت الشبابية والرياضية بالمحافظة.
وخلال كلمته، أكد وزير الشباب والرياضة أن مبادرة Her world ضمن المشروعات القومية لاكتشاف الموهوبين والمتميزين من الفتيات في كرة السلة، مقدماً الشكر للاتحاد المصري لكرة السلة علي المشاركة في هذه المبادرة، مشيداً باتحاد السلة برئاسة الدكتور مجدي أبو فريخة والذي أحدث طفرة كبيرة في كره السلة المصرية.
ومن جانبه، أكد اللواء عادل الغضبان علي أهمية ممارسة الرياضة وخاصة للفتيات، مما يعود أثره علي الأسرة المصرية، مشيداً بالأنشطة والفعاليات والتي تقدمها وزارة الشباب والرياضة لابناء بور سعيد، موجهاً الشكر لوزير الشباب والرياضة علي اهتمامه بتكثيف الفعاليات داخل محافظة بور سعيد.
ومن جهتها، أكدت الدكتورة سونيا عبد الوهاب ان مبادرة Her world يتم تنفيذها بالتعاون مع الاتحاد المصري لكرة السـلة، بهدف زيادة مشاركة الفتيات في لعبة كرة السلة من خلال تنفيذ الأنشطة التى بدورها تساعد على زيادة شعبية وانتشار كرة السلة للفتيات علي مستوي الجمهورية، بالإضافة إلي التعريف بالنماذج النسائية المتميزة، والتأكيد علي أهمية العمل الجاد و الجماعي، وتشجيع الفتيات على ممارسة اللعبة، مشيرةً الي اختيار أفضل اللاعبات وانضمامهم للفرق التابعة للاتحاد المصري لكرة السلة، والمشروع القومي للموهبة والبطل الأوليمبي الذي تنفذه وزارة الشباب والرياضة لرعاية الموهوبين رياضياً.
ومن جانبه، قدم الدكتور مجدي أبو فريخه رئيس مجلس إدارة الإتحاد المصري لكرة السلة، الشكر لوزير الشباب والرياضة علي دعمه المتواصل واللامحدود للأندية ومراكز الشباب في كافة أنحاء الجمهورية، مشيراً إلي أن دعم وزير الشباب والرياضة لكرة السلة المصرية أعادها الي منصات التتويج مرةً أخري.
حضر الفعاليات الدكتور عمرو حداد مساعد الوزير للتنمية الرياضية، الدكتورة سونيا عبد الوهاب رئيس الإدارة المركزية للتنمية الرياضية، الدكتور مجدي أبو فريخه رئيس مجلس إدارة الإتحاد المصري لكرة السلة، عبد الفتاح حافظ مدير مديرية الشباب والرياضة ببور سعيد، والدكتورة غادة جمال مدير عام الإدارة العامة للقاعدة الشعبية، محمود عبد العزيز مدير عام الإدارة العامة للاتحادات النوعية.
ومن المقرر أن تتضمن الجولة زيارة معرض الحرف اليدوية ( هاند ميد ) والمقام أمام المركز الثقافي بالمحافظة، بالاضافة إلي حضور الإحتفالية الكبري بمناسبة أعياد 30 يونية، وتختتم الزيارة بحضور حفل تأبين الدكتور / حسني غندر.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi and Major General Adel Al-Ghadban launch the second phase of the Her world . initiative
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General Adel Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, launched the second phase of the Her world initiative, in the Sports City in Port Said Governorate, as part of his inspection tour program for youth and sports facilities in the governorate.
During his speech, the Minister of Youth and Sports confirmed that the Her world initiative is among the national projects to discover talented and distinguished girls in basketball, thanking the Egyptian Basketball Federation for participating in this initiative, praising the Basketball Association headed by Dr. Magdi Abu Farikha, who made a great leap in basketball Egyptian.
For his part, Major General Adel Al-Ghadban stressed the importance of practicing sports, especially for girls, which has an impact on the Egyptian family, praising the activities and events provided by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to the people of Port Said, and thanking the Minister of Youth and Sports for his interest in intensifying activities within Port Said governorate.
For her part, Dr. Sonia Abdel Wahab confirmed that the Her world initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the Egyptian Basketball Federation, with the aim of increasing the participation of girls in the game of basketball by implementing activities that in turn help increase the popularity and spread of basketball for girls at the level of the Republic, in addition to introducing With distinguished female models, emphasizing the importance of hard and team work, and encouraging girls to play the game, pointing to the selection of the best players and their joining the teams of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, and the National Project for Talent and Olympic Champion implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to care for talented athletes.
For his part, Dr. Magdy Abu Freikha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Association, thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports for his continuous and unlimited support for clubs and youth centers throughout the Republic, noting that the support of the Minister of Youth and Sports for the Egyptian Basketball brought it back to the podiums again.
The events were attended by Dr. Amr Haddad, Assistant Minister for Sports Development, Dr. Sonia Abdel Wahab, Head of the Central Administration for Sports Development, Dr. Magdy Abu Freikha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Association, Abdel Fattah Hafez, Director of Youth and Sports Directorate in Port Said, and Dr. Ghada Gamal, Director General of the General Administration of Al-Qaeda Popular, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Director General of the General Administration of Quality Unions.
The tour is scheduled to include a visit to the handicraft exhibition (Hand Made), which is located in front of the cultural center in the governorate, in addition to attending the grand celebration on the occasion of the 30th of June holidays, and the visit will conclude with a memorial service for Dr. Hosni Ghandar.
