تفقدت الدكتورة نيفين الكيلاني، وزيرة الثقافة، التجهيزات النهائية لمعرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب في دورته ال 54 والذي يُقام تحت رعاية الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئيس الجمهورية، والذي يفتتحه الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء، الأربعاء المقبل الموافق 25 يناير، بمركز مصر للمعارض والمؤتمرات الدولية بالتجمع الخامس.
وأكدت وزيرة الثقافة، على أهمية المعرض باعتباره حدثًا ثقافيًا دُوليًا، يُبرز قيمة مصر الحضارية والثقافية وقوتها الناعمة، وشددت على ضرورة الانتهاء من كافة الترتيبات والتجهيزات اللوجيستية المرتبطة بالمعرض، حتى يخرج بأحسن صورة، ويحقق الراحة لزائريه من مصر والدول العربية والأجنبية.
كما وجهت بالتنسيق مع قطاعات الوزارة المختلفة المعنية لطرح أكبر عدد من العناوين المتنوعة بأسعار مُخفضة، وتوجيه الاهتمام بشكل خاص بكتب النشء والأطفال، والحرص على تقديم أنشطة فنية مناسبة لمختلف الفئات العمرية، مُشيرة إلى أن معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب سيشهد للمرة الأولى تنظيم رحلات للأسر والأطفال من "الأسمرات"، و"روضة السيدة"، والمدن الحضرية الأخرى المماثلة.
وتفقدت وزيرة الثقافة عددًا من الأجنحة المُشاركة بالمعرض، منها جناح هيئة الكتاب الذي تزين بعبارات للحكيم "سنب حتب"، وجناح قطاعات وزارة الثقافة، وأجنحة الهيئات الحكومية، والدول المشاركة، ومنها أجنحة المبادرة الرئاسية "حياة كريمة" ومبادرة "وعي"، وأجنحة الرقابة الإدارية، الأزهر الشريف، المجلس القومي للإعاقة، بالإضافة إلى عدد من دور النشر الخاصة المصرية والعربية والعالمية، إضافة إلى معرض كتاب الطفل، والذي يضم إصدارات عدد من دور النشر المُهتمة بكتابات الطفل، ومنطقة الأنشطة الخاصة بالطفل، والتي ستضم ورشًا فنية وأدبية وعروضًا مسرحية خاصة بهم.
وخلال الجولة، أشاد عدد من الناشرين بتنظيم المعرض هذا العام، موجهين الشكر لوزارة الثقافة، على ما تم تقديمه من تسهيلات للناشرين مما يؤكد على دعم الدولة لصناعة النشر.
يُذكر أن الدورة 54 من معرض القاهرة الدولي للكتاب تأتي تحت شعار: على "اسم مصر- معًا: نقرأ... نفكر... نبدع"، وتُقام في الفترة من 25 يناير حتى 6 فبراير المقبل، وذلك بمركز مصر للمعارض الدولية، وتحل عليها المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ضيف شرف، وتم اختيار الكاتب صلاح جاهين ليكون شخصية المعرض هذا العام، والكاتب كامل كيلاني شخصية معرض كتاب الأطفال، يشارك فيها 1047 ناشرًا مصريًا وعربيًا وأجنبيًا، من 53 دولة، من بينها دول جديدة مثل المجر والدومينيكان، بالإضافة إلى فعاليات ثقافية تضم لقاءات مع مبدعين وكتاب ومفكرين وفنانين ورموز وقامات مصرية عربية وعالمية، لتعزيز دور الثقافة في بناء المستقبل الذي نتطلع إليه.

The Minister of Culture stressed the importance of the exhibition as an international cultural event that highlights Egypt's civilizational and cultural value and its soft power.
It also directed, in coordination with the various concerned sectors of the Ministry, to offer the largest number of various titles at discounted prices, and to direct special attention to books for young adults and children, and to ensure the provision of artistic activities suitable for different age groups, noting that the Cairo International Book Fair will witness for the first time the organization of trips for families and children from Asmarat, Rawdat Al Sayeda, and other similar urban cities.
The Minister of Culture inspected a number of pavilions participating in the exhibition, including the pavilion of the Book Authority, which was decorated with phrases of the wise "Sanahotep", the pavilion of the sectors of the Ministry of Culture, the pavilions of government agencies, and the participating countries, including the pavilions of the presidential initiative "A Decent Life" and the "Awareness" initiative, and the pavilions of administrative control. , Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the National Council for Disability, in addition to a number of Egyptian, Arab and international private publishing houses, in addition to the Children’s Book Exhibition, which includes the publications of a number of publishing houses interested in children’s writings, and the activities area for children, which will include artistic and literary workshops and theatrical performances of their own. .
During the tour, a number of publishers praised the organization of the exhibition this year, thanking the Ministry of Culture for the facilities provided to publishers, which confirms the state's support for the publishing industry.
It is noteworthy that the 54th session of the Cairo International Book Fair comes under the slogan: "On the name of Egypt - together: we read... we think... we create." It will be held from January 25 to February 6, at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a guest of honor, and the writer Salah Jahin was chosen to be the personality of the exhibition this year, and the writer Kamel Kilani is the personality of the Children’s Book Fair, in which 1047 Egyptian, Arab and foreign publishers, from 53 countries, including new countries such as Hungary and the Dominican Republic, participate, in addition to cultural events that include Meetings with creators, writers, thinkers, artists, Egyptian, Arab and international figures and figures, to enhance the role of culture in building the future we aspire to.
